It can be very easy to place your confidence in a company that advertises health products, especially if they have a good looking internet site, unfortunately, not all of these affiliate networks are as good as they claim to be.
For example, While some networks pay handsome commission fees (often up to 50%) you may find in the small print that the business involved withholds finances until you reach a particular threshold. Now, there is no problem with this; many companies do this to avoid wasting themselves cash from repeatedly having to hand over your payments. However, never fail to ensure you take a look at this amount threshold and decide if you are willing to wait for your payments.
Next, make sure that the merchant has some track record and has been in business a minimum of 6 months to one year. In many cases, whilst a company that offers an affiliate program has good intentions, the first year of business is always a risky one. If you're marketing products for this company and making consistent sales, you may be in for a surprise if the company goes "bust"; so, you may lose all your profit!
