Jewish people all over the world look forward to celebrating Chanukah each year. It is what Christmas is to Christians. Most people will find that Chanukah party games and activities are a great addition to any Chanukah party.

Dreidl and The Finding Words Word Game for All On Chanukah

The Chanukah season is a great opportunity to bring out the traditional dreidl games and activities that are perfect for all family members. To get everyone involved in the Chanukah Party Supplies , add some word games for the adults to participate in, as well.

A game that allows everyone to believe they are very clever is Finding Words.Finding Words is an ideal game that has everyone thinking they are a genius. You just choose a word, and everyone writes down as many words as they can think of that use only the letters used in the word. For example, the word Chanukah, spelled as it is, can only use a "c" once, but it can use the "h" twice, because "h" is used twice in the word. So, "chunk" might be a word that is made from the word Chanukah. This game is a great game to compete with spelling and concentration skills and is fun for everyone. You can even have a simpler game, with much simpler words chosen for the younger kids at the holiday gathering.

If everyone is given a blue pencil with white stars, or blue and white in another design combination, they are the appropriate colors to help celebrate Chanukah. And they will want to participate in any word games you might suggest. Use the blue and white pencils as party favor giveaways, and purchase them when you go out to purchase your Chanukah Party Supplies and Invitations and Invitations. You might even include a matching pad as a set, so that you won't need to pass out paper for the games. More often than not the party guests will have everything needed for games and activities.

Chanukah party supplies and invitations along with party games will add to the fun of the traditional Jewish family gatherings. You might want to supply them with prizes for those who get the word games right, or those who score the highest in the dreidl games. Most people will find that having great party favors and prizes will encourage guests to participate in the party games and activities. Give it some thought, and provide appropriate prizes for the various ages that may be participating in the games. Additionally, some hosts may want to put the prizes on display or have clues throughout the party to make the prizes very intriguing.
