Bring back the Jurassic Age with a dinosaur theme party filled with dinosaur party supplies, decorations, and plenty of dinosaur theme games for children to play.

Dinosaur Fossil Dig: This game is played a lot like a treasure hunt with the exception of hunting for dinosaur fossils instead of treasures. Place plastic, bones, dog biscuits, chicken bones, or anything that resembles bones of a dinosaur in an inflatable swimming pool filled with dirt. These fossils are precious and priceless so using steady hands with paleontologist tools such as brushes and shovels is necessary.

Dinosaurs Egg Hunt. Dinosaur Egg Hunt is played similar to an Easter Egg hunt but instead of using chicken size eggs use larger plastic eggs that would look like they came from a dinosaur. Paint the dinosaur eggs an off-white color with spots to make the eggs looked aged.

Dinosaur Bone Toss: This game is played by filling small buckets with dirt and then having the guests toss toy bones into the buckets. The player who can make the most bones inside the bucket is the winner.

Pterodactyl Origami. Pterodactyl Origami is played by creating this flying dinosaur from paper. Since creating origami figures is complicated, party hosts should make these creatures beforehand. Give each child a Pterodactyl origami party favor to take home. Have each child throw their Pterodactyl origami at a target or see who can throw their the farthest.

Track the Dino Footprints: Making footprints and putting them throughout the party area will make the party very authentic. The players must track the dinosaur footprints as best as possible to find the dinosaur. At the end of the foot prints place a dinosaur toy matching the dinosaur footprints. For example, at the end of the T-Rex footprints place a small T-Rex toy and so on. At the start of the footprints, tell each player that they must find the end of the footprints of the dinosaur before it is gone for good. The footprints need to be separated and placed at various locations.

Dinosaur Party Games and Printable Activities are great entertainment sources for young children. The more dinosaur theme games offered the better so encourage all young, and older adults, to participate is such fun dinosaur theme games.
