After the newly planted trees and flowers in the ground it is time to celebrate mother-Earth in a fun party. Create a variety of party games that are easy to play and super fun for all.
Relay Racing The Dirty Way. Dirt Relay race is played by lining up the party guests in two different teams of equal numbers. The object of the game is transport one dirt-filled pot, using only hands, to another. The first player scoops out a pile of dirt and hands it to the next person in line who does the same. The team that fills the empty dirt pot wins. Just draw a line on the inside of the pot to give the team members a clue as to where to stop. The number of players will determine how fast the game will go. For example, if there are ten players per team the chances are great that a lot of the dirt will spill from player one to player ten.
Earth Bowling. To play this game you need lots of newspaper that will be recycled for the use in this game by clumping a bunch together and taping it into the shape of a ball. Use soda bottles and roll the wadded paper ball at the bottles. Earth Bowling is played just like a standard game of bowling but the difference these bowling materials are recyclable.
The Recycle Monster. Thsi is fun for everyone to participate in, and creativitiy wins. Create a Recycle Monster by taping glass and plastic recyclables such as cups, plates, bottles, and other items. Having two teams to play makes it more fun, as the most creative Recycle Monster will be the winner.
Bin Toss - anotehr Recylce Challenge. Who has the fastest hands of the party? Just make a circle out of empty soda bottles on the ground to find out. One player stands in the circle of bottles. On go, the player must toss the bottles as fast as possible at the recycle bin a few feet away from the throwing area. The player who makes the most bottles out of the number thrown within the time limit is declared the winner.
Earth Day Art. Each gues will have the opportunity to show off their creativity once again by drawing what Earth Day means to that person on recycled paper sheets.
