A Construction Party is the perfect theme party for young boys who love to build and use their hands. Construction theme party games are fun and allow children to work and build together with objectives in mind.

Dirt Relay race: This games is played with real dirt and the scenario is that the dirt is keeping the construction workers from building and has to be moved to another location. To play Dirt Relay Race, purchase several bags of soil and place on a large tarp to avoid getting the ground or concrete dirty. On go, children must move the dirt to another tarp on the opposite side of the party area. Give each child a pale and bucket to move the dirt as fast as possible. as a bonus, hide small construction tools to help the players move the dirt along such as larger shovels and buckets.

Wheelbarrow Races: To play this game the guests are divided into two group and line up single file with boundry(orange) cones about three feet from them. The second player in each line (the pusher) grabs the ankles of the first player (the wheelbarrow) who runs on his hands. As they play the teams have to move around the cones that have been placed on the ground and back to the area where the team is located. The third player in line next grabs the ankles of the second player and continues the race until all guests have run the race as both a wheelbarrow and as a pusher. The team whose players complete the race fastest is the winner. Make the game more challenging by having the players in a zigzag formation with hard hats on. If a players hard hat should fall off the players must stop until the hard hat is back on and continue.

Construction Hat Stacking. Construction Hat Stacking is a fun game that requires players to have steady hands. This Construction theme party game requires a dozen or so children's construction hats. Divide the guests into teams of equal players with each team getting the same amount of construction hats for the game. On go, one child from each team races down to one end of the party and places their hat. As the players run back and forth they are to tag their teammate and then those two guests will put their hats next to the other hats previously placed in that area. The game continues until the constructions hats are stacked, like a pyramid, as high as possible. The team who can make the highest construction hat is the winning team.

Furthermore, play construction party games and enjoying printable activities will be very enjoyable for everyone at the party.
