Does the young celebrant love animals but cannot decide on what animals they wish to feature for their party? If so, this may be a blessing disguise because feature Animal Party Supplies from animals around the world.
Kangaroo Jump. Have children hop around like kangaroos with tennis balls between their knees. Spilt the party guests up into equal teams. Create a starting line with some obstacles along the way. When the kids hear the word, go the first player of each team will try to hop around the Kanagroo Jump obstacle course and back to the begining. The first players then give the tennis ball to their teammates and repeat. The first team to finish the course wins. If the players drop the tennis balls while moving they must go all the way back to the beginning of the race.
Crossing the River. Crossing the River is played by setting up a 2 x 4 boards on cinder blocks. The object of the game is to cross the river avoiding all the creepy crawlies in the river such as snakes, bugs, and crocodiles that are always looking for their next victim.
Tiger Tracking: This game is played by placing cut out tiger footprints around the party room. Cut out tiger footprints from orange and tape under tables, book shelves, walls, and other areas where the footprints are visible. The winning player is the one that gets to the end of the footprints first. At the end of the footprints place a party favor reward such as a goody bags.
Polar Bear Race. Cut out five large shapes out of blue or white poster board about 2-3 feet in diameter. Divide guests into two teams. The object of the game is to use only the five icebergs to get from one end of the party area to the other. Players must take the five pieces and move their team by having everyone stand on the pieces together, taking the back piece moving it to the front and so on. Make the game more challenging by placing icebergs (chairs with white whites on them) for the children to navigate around.
Monkey in the Middle. Use a ball for kids to throw back and forth to one another while one kid remains in the middle. The kid in the middle must try to catch the ball while it is being thrown. When the ball is being tossed if it is caught by the player in the middle the person who threw it becomes the monkey for the next game. Another option is to use a banana in replace of a ball.
