You can find party supplies at every turn. Theme parties are becoming so popular, you can find loads of supplies for every theme imaginable. But consider the ages of the party guests first, along with their safety. Safety considerations for your Party supplies will give the kids a great, fun experience, and it will put your mind at ease. Pointy objects, items that can easily be swallowed or choked on, and heavy items that can hurt another child should not be in your basket of party supplies and treats.

You want the kids to talk about this party for a long time to come. But what you don't want is a disaster to speak about, whether it happens to your child or someone else's. What you don't want are the other mothers in the neighborhood thinking that you are careless and untrustworthy with their children. Safety should be the first thing on your list of party supplies.

At Halloween, you will need to be especially careful that costumes, accessories, masks and treats are all safe. When children go trick-or-treating, they should be wearing something that will make them visible in the dark. Light sticks, light bracelets, and necklaces are just the perfect thing to add to their costumes and make them safer in the streets.

And costumes should never include anything that is pointy that can harm another child. If a sword or knife is a part of their costume, be sure that it is made of flexible rubber. Their costumes should also be easy to run in, because that's what kids do. Have them wear comfortable footwear, like sneakers, and be sure that their costumes do not trail below their feet. The fabric should be high up enough, so that they should not trip over it.

Masks are a great source of laughter and fun for any masquerade party. But be sure that there is proper ventilation so that it is easy to breath while wearing the mask. Nose and mouth openings should be clear. And be sure that the eye openings are large enough that they can see everything around them clearly. A safe party is a fun party, for the parents as well as the kids.
