That is best accomplished with a small anemometer that you can mount in different locations exactly where you would put the wind device, so that you can measure actual wind conditions and know exactly what you are getting into before you try to put the equipment there.
In conclusion, home wind turbine prices are all over the board, but you can get a great idea of what yours will cost if you study what your specific requirements are before you begin and then price your device accordingly.
