Remember when Dad lectured you about English class, words and spelling, and he encouraged you to excel? Well, this Father's Day be sure to get everyone involved in a great word game that they will all enjoy. Whether your Fathers Day Party Supplies and Invitations guests are there for a barbeque, or to just have dinner together indoors, it would be great if they all participated in an educational word game that your Dad should be great at. And everyone of all ages who can read well can play.

In addition to getting great Father's Day supplies and invitations most hosts want to find party games and activities that include cryptograms, crossword puzzles and word scrambles. These are fun pastimes for everyone. Many hosts enjoy having party favors and prizes for the guests at the party. You can also find these printable games online. Furthermore, most hosts will find that many word games can be homemade and one such game is Father's Day, Find a Word.

Father's Day Find a Word

Think of words that Dad loves to associate himself with. It might be football, or fishing, or maybe he like bicycling. Take one of these words, let's say "bicycling," for example, and write it on a blackboard so that all the guests at the party who want to play can see it. After selecting your word, then tell them to see how many different words they can create from that one word. Tell them that they can use the "c" and the "i" twice, since "bicycling" has those letters in it twice. So, they may come up with words like "bing," "cling," "yin," "bling," and so on. As with most games the rules can be adapted to the guests at the party therefore rules such as how long the words are or how many letters can make it rather challenging.

Most people will find that having party favors such as pencils, notepads and other similar items will be perfect for Father's Day party favors and prizes. It can really become one of their favorite games of all time, and they may just end up playing it while waiting in a dentist's office, or online at a supermarket, too. The game itself really does encourage one to work the brain while having a great time. And it's fun Fathers Day Party Supplies .

To encourage your guests to try it even more, make sure they know about a special prize that will be given to the winner. You may even want to display it. This will make them want to play even more. The guests that creates the most words from a single word is the winner. And it will be great if the winner is Dad.
