President Day honors all of the United States Presidents, but party games can make this Presidents Day party fun. While the primary focus of Presidents Day Party Supplies is President George Washington and President Abraham Lincoln it is also acceptable to celebrate other great American Presidents as well.
Cherry Tree Darts. Cut out or paint a cherry tree on a piece of plywood and have players throw darts at the cherries. The object of the game is to hit as many cherries as possible in the selected amount of throws. Cherries placed on the dartboard give players lots of targets and a chance to improve their scores. The player who can hit the most cherries with the darts is declared the winner.
Presidents Day Bowling Game. Find pictures of different famous presidents to stick on soda bottles. Filling the bottles with some water will keep them stable. The object of the game is to knock down as many pins as possible to earn high score. The party host can ask questions regarding the Presidents also. For example, if the pins of J.F.K., Lincoln, and Washington are knocked down ask a question with the answer being one of the Presidents. The player will have to guess which President is the correct answer or cannot earn the pins knocked down. If the player answer correctly he or she earns the three pins. If one pin is knocked down, there can only be one answer to the question so that player earns the pin.
Toss The Hat On Presidents Day. Bean bags and top hats are all that is needed for this fun game for Presidents Day. The player who can make the most bean bags within a certain time period or selected amount of throws is the winner. The hats can have weights or rocks in them to keep them stabilized.
President Matching game. Print out various American Presidents (two of every President) out on card stock and cut as necessary. Place the cards on the floor or table and have the players match the Presidents with their twins. Add a few fun fact cards as well besides President images. The player who can match the most Presidents after the last match is found that player is the winner. If a match is found the player continues flipping cards. This is a fun way to teach children about the U.S. Presidents with fun facts about each.
Fun and games are needed for a successful party, so add these to your list of Presidents Day parry supplies and invitations.
