Guests of all ages will enjoy attending a Superbowl party with friends and having fun celebrating the big game. But what about the women who aren't really into the game? Party games and activities should be available for the women and others that are there for the party, but not for the game. Most Superbowl parties consist of pizza and a variety of chips. The cards are passed out and the guests all take the challenge of trying to guess exactly what has been placed inside the appetizer. The trickier the better, so be creative with the name, too.
Try this with several appetizers, and you will be surprised that some will understand the ingredients and guess them correctly, and others will be baffled about what's in it, and how you made it. If they loved it, they just might want the recipe later, so be prepared with an index card of your own. Furthermore, some people may find that many of the men at the party can guess the ingredients as well or better than some of the women.
Additionally, using various appetizers that are out of the norm and contain unusual ingredients may keep thw guests uessing for hours. Those who enjoy Indian food might easily know what you have added, but others may think it's just curry that gave it that taste. Liquid smoke is an interesting ingredient in barbequed appetizers. For the most part, many of the party guests will also enjoy a variety of Italian appetizers as well as traditional Superbowl party regulars.
This idea for a party game will surely add another dimension to the gathering. But if it is too distracting, you may want to wait until half-time.
